Business Development Manager

OPM Pros, an industry leading Affiliate Marketing agency, located in Montreal, Quebec, is looking to bring on a results-driven, people-oriented business development manager to join our quickly growing family of marketers, creatives and multi-faceted business professionals! The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, vetting, and pursuing new business opportunities relevant to OPM Pros long term strategic goals. The Business Development Manager will directly report to the CEO and will play an integral role in growing our company.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of business development experience, preferably at the agency level, is a highly motivated self-starter with impeccable organizational skills, and a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with potential clients.


  • Identify, vet, qualify, and pursue key business opportunities and new partnerships within the Affiliate Marketing industry, and beyond.
  • Maintaining clear and transparent records of conversations, relevant information, contact details, and the lead status.
  • Establishing first contact with leads through Cold-calling, emailing, and personal networking means to connect with key decision makers for each lead that is assigned to them.
  • Building out client, and internal-facing presentation materials, financial forecasting, and service level proposals
  • Present and manage proposals and services agreement contracts
  • Lead the process of completing RFPs by working with the Director of Business Development and the VP of Client Services to outline the resources needed
  • Meeting with the Director of Business Development monthly to review progress


  • 3 – 4 years related business development experience (preferably in e-commerce)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Self-managing and goal-oriented
  • Affiliate marketing experience is an asset
  • Experience using Sales Force
