Operations Coordinator, Affiliate Marketing

Position Overview

As a member of the OPM Pros’ team, the Affiliate Marketing Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Operations Manager – Team Lead, is responsible for managing daily operation tasks for affiliate programs based on the Account Manager instructions. This includes creating text links, promotions assets, banners, newsletters, reports and completing quality assurance testing.

Managing Affiliate Program Operations

  • Execute the operational tasks based on the Account Manager’s instructions
  • Communicate promotions and answer affiliate technical questions on a daily basis
  • Monitor account activities (key sales channels, anomalies, KPIs)
  • Prepare and send HTML newsletters via the network interface
  • QA Testing of promotions, coupons, products
  • Test landing pages and promotional codes
  • Process returns in the network
  • Formulate custom and ad-hoc reports
  • Execute additional tasks upon request

Manage Systems and Networks

  • Create promotional assets (banners, links, etc.) and commission terms in the network
  • Conduct quality control to ensure the network interface is organized and optimized

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree: Preferably in Business/Marketing

Skills and Knowledge

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as the ability to work well under pressure
  • Internet savvy and computer literate; good understanding of online retailing/e-commerce
  • You can confidently communicate strong product knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of basic HTML code
  • Experience using LinkShare, Commission Junction or any other affiliate network is an asset
  • Excellent communications oral and writing skills in French and English
